A Summer Program for Your Nature Loving Child

At PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration we embrace a child's interest in the natural world by introducing them to local trails and their natural history. For over 20 years, our experienced teacher-naturalists have guided young children as they discover the best of what our local outdoors has to offer. 

Each day children will investigate a different nature-based topic through hands-on exploration and STEM-Based activities. From finding aquatic creatures in the local streams to rolling over logs on the forest floor, children will have endless opportunities to learn about their local environment. 

PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration offers Summer Camps in four locations around the Greater Boston area for children ages 4-8 or 4-7 (depending on the location). These camps are from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm, with early drop off (8:20 am -9:00 am) and extended day (1:30pm -3:30pm) available. Check out the full summer camp 2024 schedule below.

Our Summer Camps offered in South Newton, Newton, Needham & Wellesley will begin with a brief introduction and opening circle where the children will get to learn about the topic of the day as part of a weekly theme. After a snack the children will begin exploring the natural world finding clues, and evidence surrounding the nature topic of the day. After lunch the children will get to explore the topic further through nature based crafts and STEM-based experiments.
