- Halloween – Thursday, October 31. Public schools will be closed the next day in observance of Diwali.
- The Pumpkin Patch at Wellesley Hills Church – Grab your pumpkin and snap some Instagram-worthy family photos!
- Wellesley Recreation’s Howlin’ Halloween House Contest – Nominate the spookiest or most creative house! Send a photo and address to recreation@wellesleyma.gov by 10am on Friday, October 25. Categories include Scariest and Judges' Choice, with awards delivered by the Boo Crew.
- “Beetlejuice” Movie Night at Wellesley Free Library October 17, 7pm. Enjoy this Halloween classic with snacks provided
- West Suburban YMCA Fall Festival– Saturday, October 19, 11am-1pm. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, face painting, a petting zoo, obstacle courses, and more! Costumes encouraged. Free and open to all!
- Halloween at Linden Square – Sunday, October 20, 11am-1pm. Kids 3-12 can enjoy pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating, and crafts. Visit the real fire truck and don’t miss the Bach to Rock Instrument Petting Zoo.
- Wellesley Hills Halloween Stroll – Saturday, October 26, 11am-1pm. Trick-or-treat through local businesses and enjoy games and music at Clock Tower Park!
- Halloween Story Time & Craft at Wellesley Free Library – October 31, 10:30-11:15am. Come dressed in costume for stories, songs, crafts, a costume parade, and trick-or-treating at the library.
Needham
- Volante Farms Pumpkinfest – Enjoy fall family fun at Volante Farms with seasonal activities and plenty of pumpkins to pick!
- Trick or Treat at Goldfish Swim School in Needham! Calling all ghouls, witches, and superheroes! Join Goldfish Swim School in Needham for a fun-filled Trunk or Treat event where you'll collect candy from car trunks decked out in amazing Halloween themes! Bring your best costume and a big smile because it's going to be a treat to remember!
